Peer Syed Haidar Hussain Shah Gillani Mast Qalander was born in Toup Talyan tehsil Sudhnoti district Poonch Azad Jammu Kashmir nowdays its known as Palandari Azad Kashmir. His father name was Peer Zind Ali Shah(RA) and his grandfather name was Hazrat Peer Syed Sher Shah(RA) both of these renown saints and their shrines are in Toup shareef. Hazrat Peer Syed Haidar Hussain Shah belong to Gillani family he had 3 brothers and 1 sister. Peer Syed Haidar Hussain Shah Gillani`s mission was teaching of islam and to get free homeland from Dogra Raj of that time so he migrated to Toup Talyan to Mehande Rajori district Poonch in occupied Kashmir because of this migration some people also calls him chajlavi. In 1947 dispute against hindus and muslim of south asia he gave order to his believers and other muslim brothers to unite against hindu Dogra Raj. After his call all the muslim of Mehande Rajori united themselves made two groups on your name Haidri 1st & Haidri 2nd. Ther elder son Syed Sarwar Hussain Shah Gillani also took part with freedom fighters and in the end by the Grace of Allah Almighty they freed thier homeland called Azad Kashmir . they migrated to Chajla Toup Talyan and after that he migrated to different places in the end he came to Panjera kattani and Panag and stayed at Sardar Sakhi Valayet Khan home. Peer Syed Haidar Hussain Shah Gillani Mast Qalander struggled his whole life to get free his homeland and spreading of Islam in Rajori Kashmir. Many people came in the circle of peaceful islam by accepting islam on your hands. on 30 of may 1961 he passed away from this world to another world of eternity . He lived in the heart of his believer forever. Peer Syed Haidar Hussain Shah Gillani Mast Qalander URS is celebrated every Year on 30,31st of may & 1st of june in Darbar e Alia Panag Shareef. Hazrat Syed Peer Sadiq Hussain Shah Gillani Sahib is Sajjada Nasheen of Darbar e Alia Haidriya Sarwariya Naqshbandiya Qadiriya Panag Shareef Kotli Azad Jammu Kashmir.
